Just booked for Sept/Oct. Yipee!

Should I request the 50's or 70's? We have 4 adults, a 3 year old and an 8 year old.

Is one part more exciting for the kids than the other?

:) Thanks! We cannot wait!!!!!!

We stayed in the 50's and liked it. I think all the buildings are about equally exciting.

We just got back and stayed in the 70's. I think both are about equal but asking for lakeside is alot quieter if that's what you want.

Just got back and stayed in the 90's....very quite pool view room. Very happy and good music too!

We liked the 50's. Pool is less crowded. The 70's share w/ the 60's for the big pool, or the 80's/90's for the computer pool.

Also, I'm pretty sure the parking is closer, if you will have a car.

The rooms, are the same, and you can always explore the resort, and see all the icons.

We also enjoyed our stay at the 50's building. We were facing the landscape/parking area. We didn't mind one bit. We had so much fun at POP. The walk to bus stops and food court were not bad at all.

Have Fun!

We stayed in the 90"s building on the fourth floor and just loved it. It was quite and from the walk way we could see EPCOT's fireworks. :earsgirl:

We stayed in the 50's - pool view and loved it. We were given a choice of any building other than 60's when we checked in (late August). We were close enough to everything; pool, food court, bus stop, parking lot. I got up every morning and walked over to Everything Pop to fill up our mugs with coffee while my husband was in the shower. The kids - 7 and 9 at the time loved the bowling pin pool. I didn't mind the 50's music either.

Enjoy your trip!

Although the 60's building holds the preferred rooms (due to its location directly behind the main building and next to the main pool) in my opinion, the 50's would be a very close second. The family has stayed at both 50's and 60's and BOTh were VERY nice! :flower:

I know it wasn't one of your choices, but my friend and I stayed in the 80's. We had a great room overlooking the lake and, overall, had a wonderful trip! :)

Thanks guys! I think we'll try for the 50's just because of the pool - probably the easiest with the kids :)

We're trying to decide the same thing, for 9/11-9/17. We know we want either 50's or 70's, stayed in 70's before with lake view and it was nice. Some of our group want 50's, though. My only concern with that is the pool right there, DGS 2 & DGD 4 & niece 3 LOVE to swim & I'm afraid of fits every morning because they want to swim instead of heading to the parks, lol! Of course, if we are on the parking lot side it's not a problem, but we prefer views of the resort. On the plus side for 50's though is the convenience for when they do go swimming!
We probably won't decide until the moment of check-in. The sad part is, I've been planning this for nearly 2 years and have had the same question all this time...50's or 70's, LOL!
