Great update Michelle. I love MNSSHP too. Glad you were able to see the fireworks and Parade. We also watched from Main St since it was not packed even 15 mintues before parade. It was really nice, Kaylee fell asleep but woke up to see the parade. I love that purple Jasmine costume. DId your mom end up having to alter it? It looks great in the pics. The Ariel I think is more much skimpy. But hey there 8 and it's Halloween. Hope you get to ride SM and Splash on your next Mk day .

YAY! I loved this update Michelle! Sam looks so cute! That's great that your Mom went on Thunder Mountain and that Sam got to feel all grown up being the brave one! So sweet!
I don't think I could ride Astro Orbiter. The spinning of rides like the Teacups I can do, but that gliding/spinning like from the swings (at other parks like Kings Dominion) and Astro Orbiter (I'm speculating here as I've never actually been on it) just don't do well with my stomach. The views I would love though!
Too bad Space broke down. Never fails - they finally get the nerve to do something and something else gets in the way.
Your spot for Hallowishes sounds great - what is that in front of Sam in the picture?
Sounds like a great parade spot and a good view of the headless horseman! You would WANT that job? Scary! That horse was huge!

Thanks Sara! Funny about Astro Orbiter - my mom didn't love the spinning party but could handle it much better than Teacups (she won't ride that anymore). You'll have to just go up sometime and take in the view while your family (or friends!) take a ride.
That think in front of Sam is the back of one of the chairs in the Noodle Station. It really was relaxing to sit at a table for a while!
Yes - I think it would be cool to be the headless horseman! What a job! LOL

I am jealous that you saw the headless horseman. It was POURING when I saw the Boo to You Parade, so the headless horseman did not ride.
It's great that the lines were so short for the rides! Bummer about space mountain. I hope you got back there later in the weekend!

Thanks Julie! Too bad you missed the horseman - there is always next time, right? I just love the short ride wait times at the parties. I've often considered going to the party twice - once for the all the rides with no wait and again to take in all the festivities!

Thanks Nichole! I couldn't believe how not packed Main Street was - maybe the later parade really does make that big of a difference?
Yes - my mom had to fix the costume. If you look, you can kind of see where she sewed on part of a purple scarf to the top. Otherwise the top was way to short and anytime Sam raised her arms it would rise even further - not good! But I was please with how it turned out.

What a great idea about watching the fireworks from the Tomorrowland Noodle Station! I will have to keep that one in the memory bank!

I know what you mean about MNSSHP. It definitely remains my favourite event at the MK, or anywhere in WDW for that matter!

And that horse is pretty cool, isn't it!

I love, love the update! We saw the headless horseman too.....tre cool! You are actually getting me a little excited to type a tr from our quick trip. My mom's first time, so there were some pretty magical memories! Same is so darn cute. Does she always use the eye cover or just when away from home? Keep up the good work and get writing.

The fireworks spot was pretty good - you kind of have a side view but it beats battling the crowds if it is a busy night.

Sam always uses the eye cover at night - she alternates between the two she has. I can't stand to have those things on my face!

Hey Monica! Maybe when I retire I can work for Disney - wouldn't that be fun! My mom didn't really like Big Thunder all that much - too rickety for her. I think she did it to make Sam happy, which it did!

What fun pictures! I am glad that you have those. It was bitter sweet seeing your poor lonely camera that is lost.

Sam made a beautiful Jasmin. It was great that you got pictures with the characters too! We missed the headless horseman last year. I am pretty sure he wasn't out because it had been raining for most of the night. Even with rain, MNSSHP was a blast! I'm going to have to PM you for your special fireworks spot. I love to try new spots!
