Hi all
Just need to moan this morning. I've been trying to upgrade our stay at the HRH to club level. Spoke to FVC last week who promised to call me last friday when they could confirm it was possible. They didn't call so i rang them monday. They said it could take 2 weeks and i shouldn't have been told they would ring me friday. They suggested that i call back in a few days to see what was happening, she wouldn't call me, i had to call them. Called this morning and spoke to someone again who said she would put me on hold for a minute to check something . After being on hold for 10minutes someone else came on the line who knew nothing about my call. It turns out she had transfered me to another department. I then got passed to 5 other people including 2 in India who were helpful and tried to transfere me back to FVC. In the end i put the phone down. I just rang again and instead of getting through to FVC the phone was answered by someone in sales. He didn't know how i had got to him but he looked up my booking , fully explained what was happening and why the delay, He told me who i had been speaking to in FVC and said he would report her to their manager for what he called "dumping my call" and would ring me this afternoon at around 3 to let me know if it was sorted out or not. Can't believe how rubish FVC have been about this. They don't even give you their name when they answer.
