Just returned yesterday from our anniversary trip and while at MK got a chance to ride Stitch's great escape. I had heard ALOT of negative feedback and actually had planned to forego this ride, but as we entered tomorrowland the wait wasn't bad and we decided to give Stitch a chance. It didnt hurt that MK is MAJORLY promoting this ride in the brochures and even have stitch allover the monorails. Anyhow, we really liked it....it's cute (and alot less crying during this ride then with AE so im guessing the kids liked it better too ).
My fiancee even remarked when we came out "That was cute, the old ride there was pretty lame". I hadnt told him what everyone said about Stitch cause I didnt want to sway him, but after he said that I let him in on the buzz about how awful the ride was and he was amazed!
Im just posting this because if I had listened to all the negative gossip I wouldnt have even gone in....so I think everyone should at least give old Stitch a chance (you might like it!)

My husband liked it also. I really could not have cared less one way or the other.
He did say he would like to go on it again when we go in April.
We didn't have any crying children when we went and we were expecting it and were prepared.

For those who have seen it I thought i had heard that there was a bad smell that came out during the attraction but does anyone know if that is true and if so how bad is it ?

yes there is a bad smell. Stich burbs chili dog. It wasn't very pleasant but was not as bad as I thought it was going to be either.

Stitch is one of my DD favorites so we will be going to see this one! I am glad to see a few good reports though - I was worried with all the negative things being said.

We also loved it!! The gross factor was fun and the burp was...interesting. I also like it way better that AE, now that the ride is built around an actual Disney character!!

There's been enough negative guest feedback that Disney is already starting to retool one venue, the other will follow. The root of the problem sprung from the orginal imagineering budget being axed millions by management. Unfortunately, the retooling management has agreed to, is not likely to be enough to truely improve the attraction by much.

I also like Stitch. The burb is not as strong as the stink bug at AK tough to be a bug and doesn't last as long. Think I am going to use Stitch as a pre-judge if my little Niece and nephew will be too scared for bug's life. It seems to be a little tamer and a familiar character.

I cant wait to see stitch. We love that movie at my house and my kids are truly exited to see it. Anything with those characters is sure to please with us.....

My bf and I thought it was cute, too. A lot better than Alien Encounter. Its funny and has a simple story. Its scary but not too scary. The animatronics are so great and move fluidly.

I'm glad to see some positive reviews for my boy Stitch! I've heard a lot of complaints about it but it sounds like a cute show. I'm looking forward to trying it on our next trip

We just got back yesterday and we did Stitch's great Escape as well. There was far less crying and that was a plus. It was cute. It was gross in some parts but really its Stitch. Its true that Stitch has taken over the park. Even on the Monorail when you come into Magic Kingdom Stitch welcomes you to "Stitch Kingdom" .. The wakeup calls too its stitch with Mickey. Good fun.

How is it the 52 weeks before I go to Disneyworld drag and that week there goes sooo fast?
