Poor or no AC in Poly bungalows?

Excited about upcoming September visit staying at the Poly bungalows. Usually stay at Beach Club but had the opportunity to spend expiring points to stay in the new bungalows. Now I hear that the AC is not functioning up to "Disney" standards in inside these units. What does that mean? Will my group be huddled in the master bedroom to stay cool while in the unit? Nothing like 3 couples with wives all in the hot flash stage of life in one room! Wondering if we should ask for a different resort to avoid a possible unbearable situation. Any ideas?

Yes, there's a thread on the DVC Resorts board about this. Sounds like the AC doesn't cool the master bedroom well enough, so they've installed window units in the master (but the rest of the bungalow is ok).

My neighbor just got back, yes they had to put the a/c units in the window. He also said the tooting of the boat horns kept him up late and started very early.

I agree. Check out he DVC Threads. As an aside, 3 couples of "hot flash" age in the 2 BR bungalow does not sound like fun.
