Today we headed to Epcot for the morning! We were planning on covering Future World, having lunch at Beaches and Cream and then miniture golf at Fantasia Gardens. Our plans changed when it was 95 degrees and way too hot for putt putt! So here is what we did!
We walked to the TTC and took the Monorail to Epcot, arriving about 9:30am.
The crowds we light and so we headed straight to the Land for our Soarin' FP and rider swap.
Our return time was 1:15pm so we rode Living with the Land (no wait), left the Land and rode Figment (no wait)
Seas with Nemo & Friends (no wait) and saw Turtle Talk with Crush! This was the first time Emily sat up front with the other kiddos and it was a teary moment for Mike and I. Our little girl is so grown up! We walked around and saw all of the fish swimming around. Mike LOVES fish and has a 250 gallon saltwater tank in the wall of our den! He could spend forever in the Living Seas!
After our underwater adventures with Nemo, we went to see the characters! The line was long, but moved pretty quickly. I think we waited about 15 minutes so see these friends!
At this point it was about 12:30pm so we went back to the Land and had some lunch! Mike and I both had the Black Forest Ham and Salami Grinder and it was delicious as always! We've had this sandwich on previous Disney ventures and we have never been disappointed!
As you can see, I had the Strawberry Shortcake. It was light and fluffy with fresh strawberries. I could eat this all day long!
Mike had the Chocolate Moose Dome and he said it was too rich and not very good.
Overall, we like Sunshine Seasons because of the variety of choices they offer. We wouldn't go out of our way to eat there, but for CS, it is good. We rate it

After out tummies were full, it was time to Soar! Mike rode 1st while Emily and I waited, then it was my turn! I love this ride, it's so relaxing and I just feel so peaceful cruising over California!
Once we finished Soarin' we headed to the other side of Future World ano along the way, we ran into these guys:
Then we stopped at the fountain for some more pictures:
Mike headed to Mission Space (10 min wait) while Emily and I shopped at Mouse Gears:
Ellen's Universe of Energy wasn't running and we've been on Test Track enough to know it's not worth waiting even the 10 minutes for, so we headed to:
There was no wait. We LOVE this ride, escpecially when you get to the top..."On this, our Spaceship Earth"! Although, it was more dramatic with the old narrator, but I don't mind the changes!
Anyway, at this point we were ready for the pool and nap time so we hit the Monorail back to the Poly!
TIP: I think Future World is the best place to be when it is scorching hot outside because all of the attractions are indoors and so are the lines!
Up Next: Spirit of Aloha show!
