pool view room AKL or WL?

plan on some downtown disney nights. signature resort dinners everynight.


dont spend alot of time in room...

I prefer the pool view at WL and Savanah view at AKL ... The buses at AKL were much better before they built the Villas. I give the nod to WL.

I prefer the AKL but if you are going to be eating signature meal every night i would go with WL. This will give you far easier access to the POLY, CR, GF etc.

My vote goes to the WL for location. The WL is very convenient to alot of signature restaurants on the monorail line, as well as the WL having Artist Point.

My vote is AKL because it's our favorite resort!

We haven't yet stayed at the AKL. (If we did, I think we'd actually prefer the Savannah view to the pool view.)

However, we LOVE the courtyard view rooms at the WL. I always request a room on the same side as the courtyard waterfall, so I can sit out on our balcony & hear & see the waterfall - in addition to the pool!

It's also nice being able to see Bay Lake &, therefore, the nightly water parade.

Also, as other posters have mentioned, the WL is convenient to the other monorail resorts - so you'll be close to some great restaurants.

The pool view at AKL is just that ....a view of the pool are, which is nice enough but you cant really see any of the animals which, for us, is one of the main reasons for staying there.
