Pool use with guests ?

Sorry for asking this question because I know I have read the answer but can't remember what everyone said. (I did try the "search" function and it came close but no cigar.) Thanks for any and all help and, again, sorry for the redundancy.

Staying at BCV in Oct. Have friends who will be in Orlando at the same time, maybe even at Disney for a night or two. Are we allowed to invite them to SAB to hang out with us or is that poor DVC etiquette? Really don't want to end up in a situation where they are asked to leave, that would be embarassing to all involved.

Technically, the pool is for the exclusive use of the BC/YC/BCV guests, but not their guests. If you have room in your villa, you could possibly add them to your room and get them room keys. You may need to show a room key for everyone to get wristbands for everyone. You might be able to do it and you might be asked to leave. It just depends.

Every time I've been there they have had wrist bands. But they have never asked for a key to the world card for each member of our family. I have seen it posted on here that others have been asked to show a card for everyone.

If you don't have room in your villa - when you check in ask the front desk - sometimes they allow guests - most of the time NO - but it can't hurt to ask!!!

almost remember that they don't ask for children - the parents yes - children no - they don't really expect the kids to kept keys (ID)


if you get a good one at the front desk - she/he will give you extra keys for your guests.....(don't tell!!!) - make sure that there is no charging priviledges on your guest keys....

The last time we stayed at the BCV which was Labor Day week last Sept, we were asked to show id's for everyone in the party, including the 3 year old kids. I don't think it is wise to try to get everyone in on a few id's because like you said, it could turn into an embarassing situtation.

In July we were at BCV a whole week and never once were we asked to show room IDs or given wristbands at SAB.
