Pool slide info?

Is there anyplace that will give info on pool slide length, or do we need to research each resort? Thanks!

I did a quick search and there's a touringplans blog post about resort pools. At the bottom of the post there was a part two, three and four that broke it down by value, moderate and deluxe. I went to the moderate and skimmed it and didn't see actual length of slides but it did have pictures.

Thanks- I've been able to find pictures, too. We LOVE AKL-J, but my 13 year old is not impressed with the short, slow slide anymore. Too bad too, because it seems like one of the few pools with a pretty good deep section which allows for fun jumping in. We spend a good part of our vacation enjoying the resort, particularly the pool. At first he loved the WL slide, but its as short as a playground slide!

Yeah once the kids hit teens, the pools really were not up to speed for them. CSR is not bad and they love the resort, but we began just adding water park days to some trips.

I just found the length looking at each hotel pool info on the Disney site, but I had to look at each one. If you are only considering a few or handful, then it's not bad. Are you looking for shorter or longer? People here can probably tell you from experience.

EDIT: Just saw that you have a 13 year old. I think CSR of the moderates has the longest slide, like @HopperFan said. The deluxes actually seem worse than the moderates to me, and I don't think the values have slides. Probably need to do the water parks.

Thanks very much~ We may do a water park day, but next trip will be bringing son's best friend ( same age) so it would be great to have a hotel pool that keeps them busy too. We loved the CSR pool slide, but were constantly attacked by bees there last trip and I have a slight allergy, so it wasn't relaxing!

IMHO. BWI has THE best slide on property.
