Pool/Resort Music

I spent 3 days at BCV, and when I was at Stormalong Bay, they played what I would call as modern pop/rock music. It set a nice mood. What is the music type played at the other resorts (either around the pool or in general)?

I thought people would be excited to say what type of music plays at their resort, and I’m genuinely curious. I have to do a shameful bump of my own thread to see if I can get some answers.

Music sets the atmosphere of the resort. The reason I’m asking is some resorts are more obvious than others (ex. RIV). But I have no clue what type of music BWV or BLT plays.

At Fort Wilderness the background music around Pioneer Hall is bluegrass…I think mostly Bella Fleck and the Flecktones.

Do they differ between the pool and resort? Like I said, Stormalong Bay was very muc top 40 alt/pop/rock, which was perfect because it’s the type of music I’d probably listen to laying around the beach.

I think OKW also has some Jimmy Buffett tunes in the rotation that the youtube mix might leave out, but definitely island-y.

Also be sure to search youtube for the park related ambience music - it's tremendous. (If they'd lower the price a little, I'd pay for ad-free youtube.)

I think I’d like that. That’s what’s cool about WDW. I don’t think I’d throw that in Apple Music (maybe I would to bring back memories), but in the right environment, it seems to fit. There’s just something about music, more than anything else, that brings me back to a point in time.

I often have WDW or DLR music playing on youtube as background music to whatever I'm doing around the house. As my 81 year old Disney-loving aunt said, "It's such HAPPY music!"
