on Carnival, the pools were salt water--my kids HATED them...

I heard Disney's are freshwater...??

Also..can kids use floats, arm floaties, etc in the pools?

They are fresh water..ANd yes kids can use arm floaties, what have you....

ALL TRUE. Kids loved the Freshweater pools! Also the pool was open Very late compared to other cruise lines!

There are lifeguards at the top and bottom of the Mickey slide. How late the pool is open varies.

Please remember that no one watches your kids like you do. Even though there are lifeguards, they have their eyes on 100 kids. You have your eyes on only a few. I'm not sure if that is the former lifeguard or the mom in me speaking.
