What do you with your room card when you go to the pool? I have charging set upi on mine and would hate to lose it or have it accidentally walk off.

I have always taken my cell phone and my room key with charging privileges to the pool. When I leave my area, I cover my Passporter pouch with my towels and coverups. I have never had a problem. However, I always think about it and it does make me nervous. If it is going to bother you, I would buy a waterproof case and wear it while you swim. Sometimes if I know I won't be charging anything, I take my dd's room key that does not have charging privileges and that way, I don't worry about it.

As long as you are a registered guest - if you are asked, and given a hard time for not "proving" you are a guest - they will be the ones HIGHLY embarrassed. I've never taken a room key to the pool. My husband is always in the room when the children and I go. (never been asked) I have never brought anything w/ me to the pool because I know I would leave it.

We've used the same waterproof case from Typhoon Lagoon for several years. We put our room key & safe key in it & keep it with one of us. We do the same at the waterparks.

I just put my room key and towel on a table out by the pool and have never had a problem.

we also leave it with our stuff on, near, or under a lounge chair. Or, if we brought a small tote bag with our sunscreen, camera (waterproof), sunglass case, we put the card in the bag. We just bought waterproof cases at Castaway Cay, so maybe we'll use them next time we're at a resort pool.

I can understand your concern, we had ours stolen along with the rest of our belongings at SAB. We just try to hide it really well.

Its a major hassle with your charging priviliges if it happens too.

I put it in my backpack, which I zip up, hide under towels and then intertwine with the legs of my chair or lounge. If someone wants to steal it then, it takes a lot more than just casually walking up and walking away with my bag. That being said, I do worry about leaving stuff unattended and check back on everything fairly often.

I guess I am too trusting. There must be thieves who go to WDW too, I just never expect to encounter any on my trips! Seems so family oriented and no one ever seems to be bothered with anyone's else's stuff at the pool. We have always left it in a towel on the chair. We take one chair for all of us to use and pile all our stuff on it. Hopefully my trusting nature will not fail me.

We put our room key, watches etc. in a bag and leave it under our towels on a lounger. No one has ever bothered it.
