Pool Hopping

Are you able to "pool hop" if you are a WDW resort guest?? (Use other resorts' pools)

Nope. Unless you are staying at Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter. They are "sister" resorts you you may swim at either pool. Other than that you have to stay at your own resort's pool. All the pools are nice IMHO.

No, sorry. You are not allowed to pool hop. All resorts have signs posted that only guests staying at that particular resort can use the pool (except POR/POFQ like the previous poster said). Sometimes CM's check for your room key as well. There have been instances where guests have been asked to leave when they were not able to provide a room key for that resort.

The only people who can pool hop are DVC members. Even then they can not pool hop to Stormalong bay (at the Yacht and Beach Club) or to Animal Kingdom Lodge. Like other posters have said they sometimes do check keys and ask guests to leave if they can not show a valid one.

If you are staying at an All Star Resort, you may hop between the sister pools of All Star Movies, Sports, and Music.

Thanks everyone and sorry for the repeat question!! I was just wondering as I've stayed at other properties (Like Beaches & Sandals) that allow you to pool hop.

Don't feel silly for asking something. Even though it is something that is asked quite often, ask away, you are new and that is how you learn. Disney is a great place, but also a very big place so there is a lot to learn.

I have learned quite a few things here and am greatful for all the advice, it makes planning a vacation that much more fun.
