""Busy" and "body" are also descriptive words that are in the dictionary. Neither is positive or negative, but when placed together it's another story. Same for "blue" and "nose". Dittoes for "up" and "tight"."
Since you seem to have trouble with understanding the meaning of a two word phrase, in the future I will do my best to use one word- and I will try to keep it short enough that you can garner the meaning...
"I was curious as to why you felt the need to apply a label to the "them" that you then also described? Why not just say "I find it interesting that the people against pool-hopping here are pretty much the same people every time this thread (or the mug thread, or the upgrade thread, etc) comes up."
Label??? What label??? Using your point that "the receiver has the final say on how they choose to react or feel about an opinion, and not the sender", how can you be certain anyone (other than you) believes it to be some sort of label? It was just my opinion, you are labeling my opinion a 'label'- not me
"Well, now you're moving the goal posts. My point that was the receiver has the final say on how they choose to react or feel about an opinion, and not the sender.... but I'll bite. How exactly does one determine how another
may be affected by the expressing of an opinion so one may decide whether the expressing of said opinion is, or isn't, "moral"?
"
I will use your rationale to answer this question, too. Because it is up to the reciever to determine how they feel about an opinion, and an opinion (according to you) is neutral unless acted on, then it makes sense to me that there is probably no reponse- positive or negative- to a neutral opinion. Makes about as much sense as your question...
I am more than happy to throw gobbledygook at this pablum (as long as I don't fall asleep from all the neutrality). Maybe if you want to form an opinion there could be a discussion, but that would necesitate that you form an opinion, therefore blowing your whole argument out of the water.
