Pool hopping to Art of Animation?

I doubt it because I saw a pic of the pool sign and it said the pool was for the exclusive use of AoA resort guests. But then again maybe all the pools on property say that lol ....

Does anyone know if this will be allowed for DVC members? TIA:goodvibes
This pool is not listed as an exemption to the policy, so it should be permitted.

Here's the pool hopping paragraph from the member's web site:

Pool Hopping Information

When staying on your Membership at Disney's Vero Beach Resort or any DVC Resort at the Walt Disney World Resort, you and any Guests staying with you are permitted to use most of the other Disney Vacation Club and Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools (in addition to the pool at the resort hotel at which you are staying) if they are not at capacity. If the pool you are visiting reaches capacity, you may be asked to leave in order to accommodate Guests of that resort hotel. Please check with a host or hostess at the front desk of the resort you wish to visit before you go to find out about pool-access availability. You must present your current Key to the World card with your "DVC Member" designation on it to use the other resort hotel pools.

Pool hopping is not available at Bay Cove Pool at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Uzima Pool and Samawati Springs Pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, and the leisure pool at Disney's Beach Club Villas. There are no exceptions to this policy. As a reminder, during times of high occupancy, please be mindful of the limited number of pool chairs available, and refrain from leaving towels or personal items on unoccupied pool chairs.

Resort hotel pools may become unavailable from time to time due to capacity limitations. Due to the high occupancy that is expected, Disney Vacation Club Members and any Guests staying with them may not pool hop during the following dates*:

2012 Blockout Dates
February 19 - 25 (Sunday - Saturday)
March 31 - April 14 (Saturday - Saturday)
May 25 - 28 (Friday – Monday)
June 29 - July 7 (Friday - Saturday)
August 31 - Sept 3 (Friday - Monday)
November 19 - 25 (Monday - Sunday)
Dec 16, 2012 - Jan. 5, 2013 (Sunday - Saturday)

*Other restricted dates may be added based on projected pool capacity

As with pool hopping to any resort, you'll want to take your Portable Perks booklet with you to the resort. We've found that the front desk at most Disney resorts have no idea what you're talking about when you ask. We almost always have to show them the section in Portable Perks for them to acknowledge that pool hopping is a DVC perk.

I doubt you will be able to becaue the pool is gated and will only open with the RFID chip in the AoA room key.

I think the Big Blue is key card access only as it's a gated pool. I doubt DVC members will be able to pool hop there for that reason. As the resort is opening in phases they may not have added this pool to the list of restricted access for members.

I'm going to give it a try in June :cool1:

Just check Portable Perks like Dave suggested. They update those quarterly, I think, so the information should be current. You might also e-mail Member Satisfaction to see what they know.

No biggie if we can't swim. My brother will be with us and he works at Pixar so I thought it would be neat to take him there and have a look around. Can't wait!! 41 days...:cool1:
