Can DVC members staying on points hop to the pools at the Swan/Dolphin? Just wondering, since my sister will be staying there for a few days while we will be at our home, BWV. Thanks!

OK, that's what I thought. Could they come over and use the Boardwalk pool as our guests?

No. Each resort has a sign at the pool's entrance stating that the pool is for the use of that resort's guests only.

If your room occupancy limits allow, and you aren't using the dining plan, you could list your sister et al as occupants on your room. They would then have their own key and be able to visit with you at the pool.

If you are max'd out on room occupancy already, then daisyduck is correct in saying they should not be allowed to visit.

This would be a good idea, but we are 4 people staying in a 1BR so I can't add any more people onto the reservation.

They will usually allow 5 to be listed in a one bedroom, but she would need to be added to dining plan if you are getting it.

No dining plan being added as of now. There are 5 additional people, so this wouldn't work.

Sorry, they will not be able to join you at the pool. You may meet them on the Boardwalk for dinner, or have them visit in your room (but 9 sitting in a one bedroom would not be comfortable.)

Best to stick to the parks with them! :)

As it turns out now, they are not skipping the parks any days they are there. They will arrive on a Sunday, late afternoon, and we will be going to theme parks together that Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Then on Thursday, we all check out and head home. So, the only time we would be able to go to the pool together anyway would be during an afternoon break, but it would only be for an hour or 2 anyway...so not a problem at all!
