Wow, is it just me, or has this post gotten considerably out of hand. A simple question was asked, and it was answered within the first 2 or 3 responses. Now we are almost 60 responses into this thread, and what are we accomplishing? I dont endorse pool hopping. I've never done it. Personally, I'm not sure if I could even spot a pool hopper, and I dont even like taking time away from the parks to swim, unless I absolutly have to, in which case, a pool is a pool, and any will do. But at this point, we have reduced ourselves to name calling, digging up dirt from old post to discredit others and touting a holier than thou additude. But what's it all for? To condemn those lesser vacationers who break a silly, trivial rule? Honestly, has pool hopping ever actually kept anyone from getting to swim? How can you tell who is a hopper and who isnt? And is all of this really such a big deal that it warrents this sort of behaviour?
You can argue that those who want to close this thread down are simply trying to justify thier own illegal behaviour. I personally would like to see this thread closed because I think we are far past being useful, informative and constructive in this discussion, and when we reach this point, no one really bennefits.
All of that being said, I have decided that when I return to WDW in Sept, I am taking my old last years mug from Pop, going down to AKL, filling it up with a tasty beverage, hopping on the bus down to the Poly for a swim, will head back to my room at the Pop, round up my dirty laundry and take it down to the Contemporary and have it washed. And maybe while I am waiting for the wash, I can sneak up to the California Grill, sneak a few samples from the chefs and watch Wishes from the balcony. What do you guys think?
