Pool Hopping Permitted

We'll be staying at the Wilderness Lodge in a few weeks and was wondering if we are permitted to use the pools at the other Disney Resorts. Thoughts or suggestions?

Welcome to the DIS boards!!! As to your question..no, you are not allowed to use any other pools at WDW resorts....just the pool at your particular resort. The only exceptions to this are the pools at the AllStars..you can use all the pools at the various AllStars..Music, Movies and Sports. Same scenario at PO..you can use the pools at Riverside as well as those at the French Quarter. But, those are the only exceptions.
There is signage at the pools stateing that the pools are 'for the use of guests of the 'xyz' resort only'.

Pools are only for that resort's guest. So you cannot pool hop. You can only use the pool at the WL.

The only acceptions toteh rule are these as it was explained to me by a nice CM at the All Stars if you are a guest at the All Stars you are able to use any of the all stars pools as they are classed as one resort and the same was told to us about POFQ/R as they are now one resort. The only other acception is for DVC members as they can use all the pools on property with the only ones not eligible being AKL poll and SAB at Yacht club/beach club.

the Phrase 'pool hopping' wasn't invented on the disboards, it is an old phrase that people used to describe going from home to home for pool parties.

you'll love the pool at WL. I'm sure you'll have so much fun there that you won't have time to want to pool hop. Though I am determined in my lifetime to stay at LOTS of different resorts, partly to try out all those cool pools!
