I live in the North East and own a pool... it doesn't get as hot here as it does in FLA but I cannot imagine paying for pool heat! As an Ex-pat who has swam in the North Sea many times, get over it! If the water is cool, jump in!
The kids will use it no matter what but me? Not too sure![]()
I no good here I would get pool heating even in the summer I hate cold water Im a wuss lol
Same here - cold water's just not as enjoyable, and just doesn't feel right in florida!
I know!the villa owner said the pool will be 70-80 degrees at this time of year and she is only allowed to heat it to 85 degrees anyway. however the cost is £140 PER WEEK!!!
so still in two minds at the min as we are trying to do it all on a very tight budget, im not sure if i would rather have the extra spends??

i like my pool water toasty warm (unless i'm swimming laps, which isn't what i'm doing when i'm playing around in the water on holiday)..
i would have the water heated even in the summer....i just can't stand cold water...
my question is, can you change your mind once you're there?
that is, don't take heating and then ask for heating in the middle of the holiday?

Profiteering. No two ways about it. Unless it's a 50% bigger pool than the normal 20' x 12' ish, there is no way it would actually cost that much to heat.
