We'll be staying at the Poly for the first time and I was wondering about the pool. Is it indoor or outdoor? Is the water heated?

Thanks!

The pool at the Poly is outdoors and is heated. ( I think all Disney pools are outdoor and heated). It is a wonderful pool, themed with a volcano slide and zero entry. There is also a second smaller quiet pool that is also heated. Hope that helps!

and tried to swim in the pools at night after days in the parks......way too cold for that then. The pools are heated but not nearly warm enough to stay in. The quiet pool was warmer at night of the two pools. They might of been fine by day. The slide was closed at night when we tried the pools. :D

It is a wonderful pool, but I guess being from the deep south I am terribly cold natured! I was there last month and found the pool to be COLD!!!!! However, in the spring and summer it is wonderful. As I said, this could just be my own weird self, but it was too cold for me and DS to enjoy ourselves.

This is a great pool, it's zero entry on the MK side, they have lounge chairs on the beach. Little ones love this area, they can play in the sand, then walk into the pool.

We find the pool warm, especially when your coming from the frozen north. We called crazy northerners.

My Grandchildren swim every night, the evenings are never crowded during the winter months. They bring robes to the pool. Once the fireworks and water light show is over it thins out. Sometimes their the only ones swimming.

There also is the quite pool. This seems to have a few more people in it at night, guess it's warmer.

I'm going to the Poly in 22 days and I'm from the South - I'm going to try it. I hope it's at least tolerable by day. We don't usually swim at night. I get cold easily though....I don't know.

Here's hoping it's in the 70's in February.

A friend of mine is there right now and she said it's in the lower to mid-70's.

We have been there in early February. We hit cold spells both times and it was freezing at the parks. My kids insisted on swimming when we got back! The pool water felt warm but getting out was the hard part. On the last day I made myself take a swim early in the morning. Mist was rising from the pool so thick that you could barely see. It was warm in the water. The new pool is very nice but we also like the smaller pool due to the lack of crowds. Have a wonderful trip.
