Pool at BWV

How deep is the water where the slide comes out at the BWV pool? My son, age 7, wants to go on the slide and is about 50", but not a real good swimmer. Is it a fast moving slide?

I wouldn't say it is a "fast moving" slide. It does have curves but is not super fast. My kids have been enjoying it since they were about 4 and 3. I think the depth is about 4 - 4 1/2 feet at the bottom of the slide. You can wait in the bottom area for him to come down. Just not right at the end of it.

It was between 3-4 feet deep. I waited at the bottom for my son when he went down.
