DH, myself, DD (13) and DD (15) from NE will be staying at RPR for one night (Easter Sunday), and dining with my 2 sisters and brother-in-law from MI who will be staying at WDW. (Our vacations happen to overlap by a day.) Since our stay is so short, our DD's would love to be able to enjoy the RPR pool after dinner. I understand that the pools are for resort guests only. If my sisters don't have swimsuits on, would they be allowed to just sit in the pool area with us, so DD's can swim while the adults visit with each other? DH and I are hoping to figure out a way to abide by the rules, enjoy our brief RPR stay and still be able to spend time with my sisters, who I don't get to see very often.

Also, if we go to City Walk for dinner, can our whole group take the boat or is that for resort guests only? TIA

anyone can use the water taxi from the hotel to city walk or parks.

the hotels dining places are open to the public and the hotel guests.

i have seen quite a few park goers that are not staying on site do meals in the hotel restuarants.

it's encouraged.

you will not have an issue using the water taxi with your friends from the hotel to city walk.

about the non guests using the pool, it is supposed to be for hotel guests only but i have read before on the dis that non guests visiting have been allowed to use the pool too.

just clear it with the front desk before the family arrives.
i'm sure they have had these requests before.
usually, the person shows their hotel key for towels at the pool, so find out if that will hold true for your guests.

Thanks for the reply, macraven. I just wanted to clarify what I was asking... The only ones going in the pool would be my DD's and they will be RPR guests. My sisters would just be at the pool to sit and visit with me while my DD's are swimming, so I'm wondering if that will be a problem. Like you said, I'll probably just have to wait and ask at the front desk when I check in. I typically like to plan things out in advance, rather than have any last-minute surprises, but it looks like this one will have to wait. Thanks again, macraven! :wave2:

I agree that your guests shouldn't be a problem at all...especially if they order a drink or two poolside.

Will you be dining with them at a restaurant on-site? One more thing in their favor.

I think you will be fine. Don't worry and enjoy your trip.

We're there in two weeks...can't wait and I hope it's warm enough to use the pool then.

Since your sister won't be swimming, she won't need a towel. No one will know if she is a RPR guest or not.

no problem having your sisters visit with you at the RPH pool.
