We are travelling to Lake Tahoe after a few days in San Fransisco in a couple of weeks time.
I am Pooh sized
and one of the problems we pooh sized people have over here in the UK and Europe is that skiing is not designed for us - or so the clothing manufacturers think!
I have skiied many times before, but since I had an accident 9 years ago when I mangled my ankle, the weight has piled on, tried all the diets, etc. Always feel very comfortable whenever we've visited Florida, but just a tad nervous about the skiing side. Skied perfectly well in Italy last Xmas, but with my short fat legs
had trouble with ski boots and was made to feel very uncomfortable with some of the looks.
Are there are other Pooh sized skiiers over there in the States? Do you have any problems getting clothing and ski boots to fit? How are you treated, because on some slopes in Europe "we're" a bit of a rarety!
Thanks for any advice/encouragement you can offer
