Pooh and the WDW planning DVD

My apologies if this is posted to the wrong board.

Has anyone else noticed that Pooh is conspicuously absent from the official WDW planning DVD? I have twin daughters who will be 23 months when we go to WDW. The only Disney character they know about is Pooh, and I was hoping to let them see him on the planning DVD, but he's not there!

He (and all of the 100 acre wood friends) is absent from the segment about meeting the characters. He is absent from the character dining segment. They don't even mention TMAOWtPooh ride when talking about Fantasyland.

I couldn't find him anywhere on the DVD. I think this is a little odd as he is likely Disney's biggest money maker.

Hadn't noticed that, but now that you mention it........hmmmmmm, the Pooh characters aren't there, are they? Wasn't there a bit of a flap recently involving the Pooh copyright, etc.? Maybe there are legal reasons Pooh's not there? No idea.

I recently read some info (savedisney.com maybe) about problems with the family (heirs maybe) of the Pooh creator - maybe things aren't going well and they are preparing to phase out Pooh should they not come to an agreement or there is some other legal action. Pooh is my favorite - I'd hate to see a 'Disney World' without him!

Pooh is technically a lisenced character so they have to pay to use him in the DVD. That's why Pooh and friends have not appeared on the DVD, ABC Christmas Day Parade, or commercials for some time now.
