Poo in the queue- eek!

I also witnessed one: an old lady pushing her shopping cart at the supermarket I worked at - as she walked she kind of kept shaking her left leg, and we couldn't figure out why. Then, when I walked down the aisle a moment later I saw the poo on the floor. She kind of left a trail down the aisle so we were able to confirm who it was. Glad I wasn't the store manager then - that's what they get paid the big bucks for! "Excuse me, ma'am, the ladies room is located behind the deli."

We were in the line when this happened. It was a posted 20 minute wait but the line didn't move once we got inside, we were there for a minute and then a family with two young children went RUNNING out of the fastpass line followed by a clean up crew coming in. It smelled horrible, but they let us climb over the railings to get to the ride itself. Certainly a new experience for us!

We were in line for Soarin in the area with the big screens on the wall. This little boy around 4 years told his parents 3 or 4 times he had to go pee. They said hold it we are not getting out of line. Well he couldn't and peed his pants and it went everywhere on the ground. His whole adult group laughed! They proceeded to go through the line and ride!! My DD who was 5 stood there in shock.

I'm a supermarket manager and I've seen this happen too many times...generally old people who just let it fall out at the tills and walk off. Although I'd did once see a parent helping a toddler pee up my Duracell fixture!

What on earth.....this is a fairly regular thing??? I just can't even. And what are all of these people wearing (or not wearing) that allows this to happen? I had no idea so many elderly people apparently go commando.

Adults who do this sort of thing must have some sort of mental issue going on. I especially feel sorry for the kids whose parents don't take them to the bathroom when they say they need to go, or who encourage the child to relieve themselves in public.

Whatever the reason, I've heard too many stories of people relieving themselves in improper places. Even when people make it to the bathroom, they not infrequently don't hit the 'target' - my brother works in a small specialty pharmacy and someone pooped in the middle of the bathroom floor (a couple feet from the toilet). And not that I like trying on clothes anyway, but all these accounts of people pooping in fitting rooms makes me REALLY not want to go in there.

It's disgusting but sounds more forgivable, like an accident. It's nice that the cleaning crew knew. Sometimes accidents can't be prevented. We were in the design area of Test Track, and the doors were already shut. DS9 said he had to go to the bathroom (pee); he literally went 10 minutes ago. We said that he needed to wait. Well, needless to say, he wet his pants. However, since it was just urine, it didn't get anywhere on the floor, just his pants. We had him sit on a poncho for the ride, so the seat wouldn't be disgusting for the next people. Poo would have been a completely different story.

The problem with these threads is that the point of view is always unanimous because the disgusting pigs who do this never show up to justify their actions. Just once I'd like to see a post that says, "I left a dirty diaper in a theater and here's why" or "Yeah, I poop my pants and I love it!"

Here you go:

At the Bronx Zoo there is a monorail ride that you have to go on if you want to see Elephants, there is no other way to see elephants. We were waiting in line for this ride and my kid had a poopy diaper. So I changed him and tossed the poopy diaper in the garbage can that is literally in the line, it's not even off to the side or anything. It was July and I don't know how often they clean out that garbage. So I'm sure it smelled nasty. But there's nothing else I could have done.

DH worked in retail for years. At least once a week someone would "go" in the fitting rooms (and the flooring was carpeted so not an easy clean-up job). And, it's not always kids. DH was there one day when a coworker actually caught a middle aged woman in the middle of "going" in a stall. The woman offered no apology, just pulled up her pants and walked out. The restrooms were just a few feet away from the fitting rooms BTW.

Really have to watch your step no matter where you are!

Oh man, she must've developed a crazy rash on her bum! And an unimaginable itch that can't be scratched.
Eh, I'm pretty sure she didn't hold back on scratching it after all
:crazy2::crazy:

But you did throw it out rather than leave it on the monorail - that would've been way more disgusting.

I have a friend who works retail in a shop that doesn't have restrooms, and he says "cleanups" in the fitting rooms are a fairly common occurrence. He's even caught people in the act and got chewed out for "I know you have a bathroom (they don't - he uses the one in the mall on his breaks), if you'd just let customers use it they wouldn't go in the fitting rooms". People are just gross sometimes.

This isn't a "poo" story but its similarly gross. DH and I were walking through the grocery store one evening a little while ago and he almost stepped on something. It took us a bit to process what it actually was and at first we both thought it was a diaper. Nope, it was two heavily used pads that I assume had fallen out of somebodies purse or something. And they just left them there. In the middle of a grocery store. Where food is sold. There was literally a bathroom 10 feet away that they could have thrown them out in.

Wow. If people feel this entitled at current prices, I can't wait to see what they poo -- er, do -- when the prices go up 20%!

That's awful that someone would try to justify it. I worked in a retail store that had an employee-only restroom and there were legitimate safety and security reasons why customers were not allowed to use it. It's not employees being inconsiderate of the customers.
