hi all- I did a search for ponchos and it produced a huge amount of results - so just wondering if the resorts/parks have ponchos in all sizes? Will I be able to find one for my toddler as well as my 7yo? Thanks!

The ones at the parks are expensive (like $10-13??) and I have never bought them. They have the Mickey or Minnie on the back as I recall, and you can buy them on demand if it rains. Some people prefer that option and hopefully one of them can answer your question.

A lot of people recommend what I do which is buy these in advance for like $1 per poncho at places like Walmart or Target. I think you can get them now online and shipped to your house. They are folded up into a nice little packets and shrink wrapped which easily fit into your pants' pockets. I always take them to WDW. Usually at least two per person because once it rains and you use them, you can no longer easily fit them into your pocket. So I consider them disposable - use once and then toss. Having two per person covers two rainy days. Usually it does not rain so I bring them home to use for the next trip. :thumbsup2

I found ponchos for my grandson at walmart and they were around 5 bucks... he hated it... I was glad that I bought and brought a rain jacket with hood for him, he was much happier with it...

Get the cheap $1 ones from walmart in the camping section. They can be ripped to the length you need and are throw away ones. They take up almost no room on their own and minimal room for a few of them.

the cheap dollar ones are ok for light rain but with heavy rain and wind you will wish you had something better. last may we took the dollar ones but wound up buying the disney ponchos after the first rain.

We do the cheap Target/Walmart ponchos. After I purchase one, I remove it from its packaging and put it into a quart sized freezer bag. That way it can be folded up and put in that to be used for the remainder of the trip. It won't fit into a pocket anymore, but a backpack is no problem.

I will no longer bring ponchos. We did the last few trips and I hate them we got cute Disney umbrellas and used thouse till we got into a building. If you do want ponchos than yes lots of cheap ones is the way to go so you can toss them after a use

They have child and adult sizes. The adult size is huge. When it rains I'm able to wear my backpack under it.
