Polynesian vs Contemporary

I originally had a TPV at Contemporary but when the fall discounts came out I was able to switch to a club level standard view at the Poly at a bit of a savings. I quickly switched over because having access to the club level will give me additional food savings by not having to pay for breakfasts.

I love the Poly and find it very convenient to walk to the TTC to catch the boat to the MK or the monorail to Epcot.

We've never stayed at the CR, but we love the Poly :goodvibes. The tropical grounds are beautiful, the volcano pool is awesome, and it's so relaxing walking around at night under the lit tiki torches :cloud9:. The CR is nice to be within walking distance to MK, but MK is just 2 monorail stops from the Poly. We are hoping to stay in a TPV at the CR sometime in the near future and I am all about staying exactly where I want to stay, but for that kind of a savings, I would definitely switch ;).

Thanks for everyone's input! We made the switch to a garden view room at the Poly. $1600 was just too much to pass up!

Great decision! :thumbsup2
We stayed at CR 2 years ago and Poly last year. When it was time to book again I asked the kids which one they liked better and they both screamed Polynesian!
Your family will love it!
Enjoy spending that extra cash on Disney souvenirs! :cool1:
