Polynesian Summer

aww pillow presents, too cute! Glad you got to head to MK, so excited to hear about the dessert party! Way to go beating your brother on Buzz!!

What a great night at MK! I just love the nights so much there!! And good job on Buzz!! :thumbsup2

Your Teacups pic makes me dizzy! "Cream or sugar?" -- that would be a great caption for a Teacups picture in a scrapbook. Porthos is funny! :rotfl2:

The pic of the castle with the kid wearing Mickey ears looks like it came from a guidebook.

Great update!

The spinning tea cups are not my favorite ride. My kids love it but once is more than enough for me.

Well I was really behind on your TR, but I have now caught up.

I have never heard of the lady that hands out at GF with stuff animals. This is really a common thing??

We just got back from staying Club level at AKL, and we were very disappointed in their snack selections. After reading your TRs and seeing all the options, I informed my DH that if we ever do CL again, it will be at the Poly. Huge difference in offerings.

Ahh, the Polynesian. I had to click on that link first and read it. But really, what isn't to love? Such an amazing resort...we used to stay there all the time and now we often go back just to visit. Hopefully one day we can actually stay there again. :goodvibes

Yay, an update :cool1:!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe that the monorail track was struck by lightning! I hope that no one was hurt!

Go you for dominating on the Buzz ride!

How was Summer Nightastic? I kept seeing the commercials, and I really wanted to go :sad1:.

Your hijinks on the way back to the resort are hilarious!

Your pillow present is so cute!

I can't wait for the next update!

~Jackie

P.S. I've been catching up on your other TRs, which are super awesome, and I keep noticing all of your super cute Vera Bradley bags! I've been thinking about getting one myself; do you have any pattern or bag style recommendations? Thank you:cheer2:!

Ooh, I love Vera too! Good luck with the job...did you apply for a position at a signature store or just for the company in general?

The watercolor pattern is SOOOO pretty! I just got my mom the new quick draw bag in that print for Mother's Day. I may have to get something for myself in it too even though I don't need any more VB stuff.

To Disney_Jackie, I usually use the hipster when we go to WDW. It's a great size and so nice because you don't have to carry it. But the saddle up is great too...that's the bag I'm using now!

Hi Jackie! I know about the monorail, scary! I don't think anyone was hurt, thankfully, but how frightening! The next day Dad made up a horror story set on a monorail and told it to us...on the monorail to Epcot!

I liked Summer Nightastic a lot, it was really cute with fairies and pirates! Is it still Nightastic or did they go back to Wishes now? lol, and we did have a lot of fun.

OOOOooohhhh, I LOVE Vera Bradley. :cool1: lol, I applied for a job with them but I doubt I'll get it.

ANYway, what are looking for? They do have canvas and straw bags now, but the classic VB is the signature collection (I think it's called) of quilted bags. They have some really cute bag styles -- I've seen a lot of people using a backpack or a hipster at WDW, my two current favorites are the saddle bag and the Eloise:

I use a saddle bag for school and it's really cute and handy! And a way to save money might be to look whatever style you like in the sale colors (soon-to-be retired patterns). Although sometimes the new patterns are too pretty to resist - I love English Meadow and Watercolor, so delicate and elegant! I'd love to hear if you get anything!

And update coming up!

Hi, Emma!

It's so funny that your dad made up a story about the monorail...while you were riding it lol :scared1:! When you said that I pictured a twilight zone movie like the one on ToT, especially since that also involves a lightning strike!

You applied for a job with VB?! That's awesome! What kind of job? I'm sure you have a great chance of getting it :cheer2:! What about your possible PI? Have you heard anything yet?

I'm having SUCH a hard time deciding what kind of VB bag I want, and, since they are a little pricey, I really want to pick one that I'll love. I might be going to grad school in the fall, so I was thinking I could get something to carry my books. Then, I thought that it might be easier to just carry a plain old backpack. The more styles I see, the more styles I like! The ones you posted are super cute; I love the Saddle Up! I also really like the cute little Emma bag, which I just realized is kind of ironic :rotfl2:.

Watercolor is beautiful, and so are so many of the patterns lol!
Phew, that was a really long-winded explanation, and probably more info than you needed. I'll definitely let you know if I ever make a decision!

P.S. Did you hear that they just opened a VB outlet in Orlando! Maybe you can work there and go to Disney every day; or, you could at least stop there on your next trip ;)!

The watercolor pattern is lovely! I like both the Saddle Up and the Hipster! It's so hard to decide:goodvibes!
