Ahhhhhhh. The lobby. Of the Grand Ceremonial House. I just…it’s so…and when you step in through the whoosh of those doors and…with those leis they give out and everyone’s wearing…oh and the green, so lush, so tropical…the CHAIRS too, with the awesome Polynesian patterns…it’s really…I can’t… Yeah. I think that’s all I can say.

I just started following your tr and I just got all caught up. i love reading your tr because I really feel like I'm there again and I love all of the details that you notice. I quoted your post above because that is just how I feel when I think about or see the lobby at the poly. It is my happy place. I got to stay there for the first time last summer and I wish i could stay there every time it is just so beautiful and relaxing and... I don't even know, words escape me. I can't wait to read more about you trip and see more gorgeous pics of the poly.

I love making hidden Mickeys in the sand.
I love watching the sun set while lounging in a beach chair with the whole beach to myself.
I love seeing Wishes and then being in my room 5 minutes later
I love getting dole whips for every snack.
I love, love, love riding the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.
I love literally everything about the Poly.

How cute that your shirt matched the monorail! You planned that, didn't you?

I love the GF. We pool hopped there in September (stayed at BLT/DVC) and loved, loved, LOVED that resort. I could live there. We also walked over to the wedding chapel and I was able to sneak in for about 30 seconds to grab a couple photos. Breathtaking!

I finally got all caught up. Love the Poly post! It makes me wish I was there right now. Especially swaying back and forth on a hammock.

Love that you saw the infamous lady at the Grand Floridian. I ran into her coming off an elevator once. Definitely interesting to see.

The Grand Floridian has always been the hotel that my dad has wanted to stay in, unfortunately it's always been out of our price range, we'll def have to go have a look around properly when we're back in the world though, it looks awesome!!
