From what I've heard, DVC resorts do not accept room request faxes, they have asked members not to send them or contact the resort directly. Your best bet is to add it to your reservation or do online checkin. I stayed there in
May and added requests to both and got exactly what I requested (Moreea third floor).

I did both as well! I'm a Touringplans member, and they fax. I am not a dvc member, but booked through Disney directly as well as put it in my online check in request! It all worked out fine in the end, so no worries for me!

Thank you for your review, overall it sounds like you had a great trip. I've never been overly impressed with any of DVC studio units I've stayed in, although I will say the ones at OKW are huge and you can't beat the big balcony there either. I've stayed in ones at BWV and OKW and I've always felt a regular room seems bigger and even a little nicer. Now when you get to the 1 bedrooms, all bets are off. We stayed in a 1 bedroom at AKV, and even though it only had one bathroom, it was still a huge suite and the balcony ran all the way across the living room and bedroom. The one bathroom was huge and while we didn't use it, the kitchen was a nice size and so was the dining area.

I totally agree with you! We did a 2br at BWV is 2011! It was dreamy! We are renting through dvcrentalstore store for our upcoming Oct trip and will be doing a studio at BCV! I think I keep doing the villas cause you can get such a good deal through a resale! I do love a standard non dvc room though! I always find them a bit more luxurious!
