Polynesian Resort question

It seems that the DIS don't like his site (maybe because it links to a rival travel agent for Dreams Unlimited). If you type 'Tikiman Polynesian' into google his site should be one of the first ones to come up.

Still cannot access this site Frances, but have found a good review thread on the resorts section of the DIS.

Tikiman's site was up and running yesterday.

It's full of good information, though to be honest your help, what we found on 'allears' plus the excellent Polynesian thread on the resorts board helped us more and we feel pretty well up to date now with what we need to know.

We will book a character breakfast, make the most of the monorail to MK/EPCOT and hopefully have a look around the Grand Floridian, watch the fireworks and other things also.

I chose Samoa, baclony view as we wanted to be close to the GCH, and near both pools.

Frances/Annie - Do you have any options to use boat transportation to take you anywhere? such as any of the other Disney resorts.

Hi Johnny - we've recently stayed at the Poly too - and it really was fabulous - can't wait to go again!!:goodvibes

I know the MK boat stops at the grand floridian before travelling on to the poly if that helps at all!!:thumbsup2

have a great time planning your trip - Easter will be here before you know it!! - We are busy planning our return trip for Xmas 2010 - not long to go now!!!:lmao: :lmao:

The Polynesian's boat transportation is shared with the Grand Floridian, so it makes a stop there. However, it's easy to take the boat to Magic Kingdom and then change on to the Wilderness Lodge boat, or to the bus transportation to any other Disney resort.

Also, there is a walkway to the Grand Floridian. If you turn left when you come out of the Grand Ceremonial House, you can follow the path round past the Spirit of Aloha dinner show and past the Wedding Pavillion on to the GF. It's a beautiful walk with lots of really quiet/private beach areas.

We are heading back in a couple weeks time, so I will get some pictures and do a trip report. :)

Thanks for the response. It certainly looks like a great place to stay.

Thanks :) - yes we figured the Grand Floridian would be a short stroll, some photos etc would be great!
