Polynesian rehabs?

Just wondering if anyone here knows which longhouses will be under rehab and what the completion dates are...

My reason for asking is that we'll be staying there in Dec. and I'd like to request the best non-smoking garden view we can get. Last time we stayed in Samoa on the GCH side and it was a great location, but the smoke was a bit much for us. I'm thinking Fiji, Marina side, 3rd floor would be a good request?????

They are redoing all the longhouses a few at a time. They should be done with Fiji and Aotearoa and moving on to Niue, Samoa, or Rarotonga. The construction is not very noticable when you are staying there. It took me a few days into the trip before I realized they were being worked on. There will be plenty of other great locations open when you go. I would not worry.

Fiji should be done by then so I think it would be a great location and a new room. The ripped everything. Even the floors. There is no official schedule of what building is next and when the completion will be but from what I saw in July they look like they will be done with Fiji and Aotearoa in a month or 2 and Tuvalu was already done.
