Staying at the dvc deluxe studio in june:

1. I hear that mousekeeping does not come daily. Is this true? If so, how often and how will I get more towels/washcloths?
2. If that issue is true, should I bring my own beach towels for the pool area or will there be plenty at the pool?
3. Will there be plenty of life vests? And in what size? I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old.
4. Is my 3 year old at 38 inches allowed on the water slide?
5. Any secrets/tips/must dos?
6. Best drinks or food to try there? Obviously ohana and spirit but any more specific?
7. Are my transportation thoughts correct? To get to mk take express TTC or ferry. To go to epcot take TTC. Only take resort monorail to contemporary and grand. Take bus at TTC for AK and DHS (not sure on last one)
8. Will i actually be able to get a seat at the pool?
9. I have found mixed info. What time are the resort movies, activities, pool area fun, and the electric water pageant (at poly)

Thanks for any and all numbered help in advance!

1. If you are booked on points then it depends on how long you are staying. For stays 7 days or less you will receive Trash and Towel Service on day 4. Towels will be replaced, trash removed and toiletries replenished.

But if you are booked on Cash thru CRO then you will receive daily housekeeping.

2. There are towels at the pool.

7. There no longer is bus transportation from TTC to any parks. For AKV and DHS you need to get the bus at the Poly bus stop. For MK and Epcot you we always do as you wrote - walk over to TTC and catch either the express monorail or ferry to MK or the Epcot monorail to Epcot.

This page should answer most of your questions: https://disneyvacationclub.disney.g...nesian-villas-bungalows/amenities-recreation/ (hopefully it's not a page only members can see, in case you are renting the points...Let me know if you can't access it.)

1. I hear that mousekeeping does not come daily. Is this true? If so, how often and how will I get more towels/washcloths?
If you are staying on DVC points, Mousekeeping will not be every day. If you are staying less than a week, you will get "Trash and Towel" service on Day 3. If you are staying longer, you get a full housekeeping service on Day 4 and Trash and Towel on Day 8.
2. If that issue is true, should I bring my own beach towels for the pool area or will there be plenty at the pool?
Pool has plenty of towels for guest use.
3. Will there be plenty of life vests? And in what size? I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Don't know!

Watch the fireworks from the beach. We love the quiet of Sunset Pointe (little grassy hill) to enjoy the music and fireworks. The Electrical Water Pageant is another fun exclusive for viewing from MK resorts.
6. Best drinks or food to try there? Obviously ohana and spirit but any more specific?
I love the bread Kona Cafe serves before dinner. I could make a meal out of that. Dole Whip is another favorite. And any drink that comes in a pineapple. ;)

We found TTC more convenient at the end of the day. Now that the resort monorail has its own security bag check, it can be worth the walk to the main building to take the resort monorail - quick and easy bag check, just 1 stop at the Grand, and you're at MK. The Poly also has small resort launches (boats) that it shares with the Grand. You are correct about Epcot/TTC monorail. Poly has its own bus service to AK, DHS, Disney Springs, and the water parks.
8. Will i actually be able to get a seat at the pool?
We didn't have a problem, but we've only ever done one pool afternoon at Poly.
9. I have found mixed info. What time are the resort movies, activities, pool area fun, and the electric water pageant (at poly)
Movies, activities, and other fun may change times depending on the season and day. This site updates each month: http://www.kennythepirate.com/resor...on-guides/polynesian-resort-recreation-guide/

Thank you. If I do need more towels and toiletries can I call to have them sent over still?

I assume you are renting points or you should know these basics. You should ask the member you are renting from how it works, or keep asking here.

3. They have plenty of life vests.

4. They do not always allow life vests on the water slide at the Lava Pool, because they do catch on it and kids have gotten stuck. Depends on the guard. They also do not permit riding double. Your kid would need to go down solo, and you cannot stand at the exit to catch kid. There is a splash area with small slides.

We will be there in June too. So glad you asked these questions. This is our 1st time using our points and will be there for 7 nights.

How long is the walk to the TTC?

6. Ohana has the best bread pudding in the world! They also have really really really amazing wontons. Bascially a must at the polynesisan my family and I changed our plans just so we could eat at Ohana!

Also not sure if your 3 year old is interested in it but when I was younger my brother and I love love loved pin trading. The cast members are ALWAYS friendly and it just makes disney even more magical!

How long is the walk to the TTC?
We were near the TTC end of Moorea, so pretty close but from any of the DVC buildings I think it is a fairly short walk as Disney goes

Make sure if you want to eat at OHana to make and ADR for it, and as soon as possible. It books up fast.

Before going to TTC in the morning make sure monorail is running. We rented points last year and while TTC was closer than the Poly lobby, it was very crowded at TTC. Everyone needed to take the boat. We found it faster walking to the lobby.

Is there a way to find out how early it runs?
