The gift shop upstairs (across from Kona) in the GCH has some food in it but I can't remember what.

Is there milk in there (bigger then the pint containers that they sell down stairs). And about how much.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.

When we were there in 9/01, they did not have milk in there. I remember that they had wine and beer there, but not milk. DD is a big milk drinker and I have to have my chocolate milk in the morning or look out! (I never did get into the coffee habit!)

We just went to Captain Cook's to get the milk. We had a cooler in the room so I would get it at night and then bring it back to the room.

It would be great if they got milk in there, so when you get off the monorail you could just stop in and get it.

When we were there in 8/01 we got a quart of milk at the gift shop that is right off the monorail exit. They donot carry chocolate milk but it was there in the case near the checkout counter where the drug items are. They had large bottles of soda in the refrig case too. Maybe it is only during the busy summer months that they carry it. I would call the front desk and have them connect you with the gift shop. They do carry quarts of milk in Captain Cooks also.

It looks like you're going to have to get a concierge room!
Free refrigerator in your room, and free milk available in the lounge. (Either in cartons or on tap, I forget which). They may not have chocolate milk on a regular basis, but I'm sure they would get some for you if you asked!

Just there in July and all they had in Captain Cook's were small containers like pints(?). There were no quarts at all like they had last year. We had to buy 2 pints every day just to have on cereal back in the room. I can't remember the price but it was ridiculously overpriced I am sure.

If they have changed the stoocking of milk in the monorail resorts I would just catch a bus over to one of the moderate resorts and go to the general stor e in there. It might take you 40 minutes to do this but you can catch a bus to any resort from the T&TC. Gosh what a pain to have to purchase 3 or 4 little pints of milk to have cereal in your room. This use to be a more child friendly place. Many children drink a quart of milk a day.
