How deep are the pools and can kids wear floaties in the pools?

the main pool I think is 4'

the quiet pool is alot deeper at least 5' in some places may be 6'. It is an older pool.

It's zero entry, so one end starts at zero and gradually increases. By the slide, it's 3 1/2 feet. I think the max is 3'10"? Maybe 4' in the middle. Floaties are allowed. They provide life jackets though. My son is just at 40 inches and he could touch bottom around a good deal of the pool. There's also a bench ledge around one end of it and he could walk along that and splash around and play.

I don't know if it has been closed in the last couple of years since I stayed at the Poly, but there was also a kiddie water jet play area off to the side of the main pool. It was basically water shooting up in little jets that toddlers loved to play in.

Personally, I didn't care much for it, as it was literally blocked from my view by some shrubbery when I would try to stay in the main pool with one daughter and my other daughter would go play in the kiddie area. I had to step out of the pool to be able to keep my eyes on both of them. Given what happened at the Swan/Dolphin resort recently, I'm even more concerned about being able to watch my DDs at all times.

What happened at the Swan/Dolphin?

A sexual predator tried to assault one child and was caught in the act before the child was harmed, I think. Apparently, he had earlier been asking some inappropriate questions to kids not his own. One of the kids' older brother found out what was going on, alerted his father, and then the father, apparently with the help of some lifeguards, found the predator alone with another child in some bushes.

Anyway, this was how I heard the story on Today, or Fox & Friends, one of those morning shows.
