Well I scraped up some money and upgraded the bandwidth so the pages are up...for a little while.

Steve

Sorry Tikiman, I just love to look at all the pictures (even though I've seen them before)....

How about for Lent (I know it's a little late, but better late than never...) I promise to give up visiting the site. I'll just have to look at my old trip photos instead of using your website to get my daily dose of the Polynesian...

But you know - that's what you get for having such an excellent website :-)

That is what they are there for. I know I go and get my fix every few days. I think it should be ok for a while...I hope.

At this rate, Steve, you'll need that million from Survivor to keep the site going. LOL You probably get a gazillion new hits each day! Thanks again for a great site! :)

That is for sure Misti.

ducklite from the boards is helping me with ideas on how to reduce the file sizes with out losing the quality. That will help the bandwidth problem. You would think the Polynesian would give me the couple of hundred dollars a year to keep the pages up. Maybe we can start a petition. I don't think Pete would like.

Steve

They have not notified me yet. They extended the date for entries so they are a little behind on the selection.

Yipee! You've been so wonderful in answering my questions here on the Dis when your site has been down. I'm going to your site now before it's temporarily down again.

I do think the Polynesian should give you a little help with the $ - it was your site & these boards that convinced me to stay there on our next trip.

Thanks so much for your wonderful site & my fingers are still crossed for you getting on Survivor!

If my web page has helped you or you went with the Polynesian because of it, please write it in my guest book. I will be sending it to the Polynesian so maybe they will see how I am helping and they may help with the pages.

HI STEVE YOU HELPED ME OUT TOO, YOU ANSWERED A FEW QUESTIONS FOR ME AND I WENT TO YOUR SITE QUITE OFTEN, I THINK THE POLYNESIAN OWES YOU FOR SURE!!!! ALOHA

Am going to sign the book now and give you the credit you deserve for helping us choose Poly concierge last year that convinced us to go this year.

fantastic site!!!
thanks for the link...
and now that i've seen the pictures of hawaii, i'm reconsidering my reservations.....(i have reservations at GF lodge concierge, YC concierge and BC concierge.....with the cruise and a stay offsite at the grand cypress villas thrown in as well.....)....maybe i'll change one of those to poly hawaii concierge.....it looks beautiful....

Steve,

I've been to the Poly twice. First time was my honeymoon and at the time the cruise portion was on the "Big Red Boat." Then we went back for a late anniversary visit the following year and went all out with a castle view!!! Unfortunately thats not in my next trips budget, I'm just hoping for a extra night. We stayed at the GF this past Dec. and we went to both Kona's(of course for Tonga Toast) and O'hana's and my heart was breaking. I know that one of the biggest debates on this board is "Poly or GF" but let me tell you I would pay more than the GF just to stay at the Poly.

I will probably ask you some questions when my trip is closer, I have a good year and a half until then. But in the meantime your site will help me pass the time. I love being able to show the pictures to my kids, they are Disney fanatics just like me. Every time my DD who is 3 sees a picture of Disney she says "were going back to Disney tomorrow, right?" My poor husband doesn't have a chance....

I too will log onto your site and sign your book. Your site is awesome.

does the hawaii lagoon view have a view of the lagoon and the castle?

also, how crowded is the poly concierge lounge?

All lagoon views in Hawaii, Tahiti and Tuvalu face the lagoon and Magic Kingdom. In Hawaii and Tahiti every room has a castle view even if some have a palm tree or two in between it and the lagoon but you can still see. Tuvalu has an island between it and the longhouse but the fireworks and water parade can still be seen.

I posted about the lounge in your other posting but I will say that the lounge has never been so busy that we would turn around and not get food. Usually we walk right up and get our food and a table. If not we take it to our room.

Steve

thanks Steve!
i hope i can get the reservation...
by the way, i signed into your guest book (twice..)...
thanks again!!

I hope so too. I know you will love it.
