Which would you stay at and why? My initial preference (because of the recent renovation) is the Contemporary, but they have no rooms at the time of our trip. The trip will be me, DH, and our two children, ages 1 and 3. I have a reservation at the GF but after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and elsewhere, I'm not so excited about it. The location is really the prime factor, but I do want to stay at a nice, updated, clean hotel. Large rooms are also nice. Price is not a factor as the price difference is quite small. Opinions, please! :)

I have NEVER stayed at the GF but I have stayed at the Poly. At first I was very hesitant about staying there after reading reviews but I decided to do it no matter what. I was pleasantly surprised when I got into the room, it was very cleen, big and kept well for it being an older hotel. I would stay there agin that is how impressed I was. :)

The GF. It is unbelievable. The lobby is breathtaking.

I would pick the Poly. I love the theming and you can't beat it's location for ease to the monorail and the TTC.

The GF is pretty, but a bit stuffy for my tastes.

Plus, I live in San Diego and honeymooned at the original Hotel Del Coronado. It's really weird to see a recreation.

The Polly, it is so Disney, in my opinion the GF does not have the same magical quality.

The GF of course... we visit twice a year and the GF is the ONLY resort we stay at. Why stay anywhere else but the flagship resort of WDW???
