Polynesian luau

Is this worth going to? How much is it? And do I have to book in advance? (trip is feb 7 - 11)

We saw this show last trip. Cost was approx. $50 per adult, and $25 for children. It's an all-you-can-eat meal, served family style.
You will need to make advanced reservations. Our table was way off to the side and although we could see the stage, the viewing certainly was not optimal. I liked it and would go again, but I'd like to find out how to can get a center table.

I really wanted to do this but couldn't. Instead we opted for the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. Amazing show and great food.

I believe seating goes by when you book. We booked very early and was seated in the second row of tables just slightly off center.
I don't think you can see the fireworks from the luau but if you time it right you could probably watch them from the beach at the poly.

HOw long is the Luau? I would really like to be able to catch wishes afterwards.

FYI... The Luau is now called The Spirit of Aloha. In general, it's the same old show but with a new twist (a comic storyline about modern vs. traditional polynesian life has been added).

Is it worth it? Definitely! The traditional polynesian perfomances are awesome to watch.

This was a family favorite. We had a blast. It is very much worth the money. It is all you can eat and all you can drink. My husband and father were very happy with that. Our waitress was amazing. She brought beer upon beer upon beer. It was comical towards the end. They drank their monies worth!! The rest of us loved the show and enjoyed every minute.

We really liked the luau. Don't go for the food. think of it as entertainment that happens to serve food.

We are going to the Luau a week from today (Yeah!) at 5:15. We are planning to go down to the Poly beach to catch Wishes which goes off at 7:30. We'll let you know how we make out!

I love the Hawiian Roller Coaster Ride song, and supposedly they have added it to the show!

Also - I made PS's for this a year in advance! I'll let you know if we are front and center (We' better be!!!!!!)
