We are visiting WDW at the end of January.

Is the Poly luau outside? Is it open in January? Would it be too cold to enjoy the show?

I thought it might be fun to celebrate DD's 5th birthday at the luau. Our other thought is 1900 Park Fair (Cinderella's feast).

Thoughts? Opinions?

Thanks so much!

We did the luau in December and it was a little chilly. The eating area is outside but covered. I wore a light hoody and jeans in December. We really enjoyed the luau though. I did love the 1900 Park Fare breakfast though too. When we go back in October we are doing both.

We went to the Luau 1/12/07 and the  weather was fine. We took sweaters and that was plenty. We go again 1/18/08 and are hoping for good luck again!

I will find out mid January because we are going to the SoA show! :rotfl:
Worse case I just wear a sweatshirt and bring a jacket.
We have been there before, in the summer. It is outdoors, but seating is under a covered area. I am sure I recall torches burning too.
I made a res for the first show figuring it will not be quite as cool outside as the later show.
