Polynesian Lava Pool Reserved Seating

I'm hoping someone can provide current information on the one reserved seating area at the Polynesian Lava Pool. I've seen differing reports about if the area can be reserved 60 days in advance like the Oasis Poolside Patios or if it can only be done after arrival at the resort. Can anyone share their recent experience with booking? Thank you!

Yes, I called as well and didn't really get a straight answer. My plan is to call at 60 days and hope I get a CM that will book it at that time.

We booked it day of at the resort a few weeks ago. It was an awesome way to spend our check out day. Definitely will do it again next year !

Minniemoo - going in August, can you tell me how you booked and at what time of day? Front desk? I called but was told it’s only available to reserve day of and they could not tell me what time to try or where.

I’m surprised to read this was just researching for my trip next year and the only thing that came up was the oasis patio. On the Disney site. There is something at the other pool too?

Yes at the front desk … it was around 9am ? Honestly we were surprised it was available. I thought you could reserve 60 days in advance and that we had gotten lucky with a cancellation. But maybe that is only for the Oasis pool and the Lava can only be done day of.

Yes there is a set up at the Lava pool as well. It’s not covered as nicely as the Oasis, but still very comfortable and access to several umbrellas, loungers, cooler, snacks etc. My kids love that pool so it was a great place to spend the day.
