Polynesian garden view room location?

I was reading the thread on faxing request for rooms and have a question for all of you Poly experts.

We have reserved a garden view room for September. We really need a non-smoking room because of allergies. Any suggestions on room location to request? Are there any buildings better than others?

I'd appreciate some help, I want our first stay at the Poly to be nice.

I've read on the boards that the Tokelau building is very nice. We had that and a first floor requested before we upgraded to concierge for our August trip. From reading Tikimans site if you can get far down in the building....closer to the lake than the GCH you can actually see some of the lagoon from your room!!

We stayed in Tokelau on the third floor. We had two rooms toward the lagoon end. Though classified as garden view, we could see the lagoon from our balconies - the castle and the GF! The location was very convenient.
