If you aren’t staying at the Polynesian can you still watch the fireworks at the MK? We’re staying at the Beach Club but wondered if it was feasible? Thanks

There are rare times when only Poly guests can access the beach and watch fireworks. Definitely New Years Eve but perhaps 4th of July as well? Any other evening should not be a problem as long as you don't want to park your car in the Poly lot. However, it's very easy to park in the MK lot and walk over to the Poly.

I recall some older threads where in general anyone can watch the fireworks even if not staying there. A few nights of the year when it is really crowded (i.e. July 4, etc.) they limit who can watch from certain places at Poly. We stayed at the Contemporary a few years ago and there is a outdoor balcony on the 4th floor that is open to public (past the gift shops) and anyone can watch from there as well.

Yes! There are a few ways to do that. Depending on your park entry/ticket, you can always walk through Epcot and front of the park to the Monorail. From there you just take the Monorail to the TTC and then walk over to the Poly. You can always book a reservation for a restaurant at the Poly and Lyft /Uber or drive over. We usually book Kona earlier, like 7pm, and afterwards grab a seat with some drinks near the front of Trader Sam's outdoor area and watch the fireworks. There are better locations but we like the Tiki flair and fireworks.

Edit: The Monorail option typically only works one way, as by the time the fireworks are over, Epcot is closed and so the Monorail will not get you back to beach club. Again, Lyft/Uber back to Beach Club!

Unbelievable, thanks for all the replies. We’re looking at a random Tuesday so shouldn’t be a busy evening. Cheers

Sure! We are staying at Poly and plan to head for the pool at Beach Club on our arrival day as we haven't really toured that resort yet.

I hope that you aren't planning to use the pool at the BC. If you are you will be disappointed. You have to be a guest at the YC/BC to access Srormalong Bay. You will be able to see it from the walkway, though. And you can access the lobby and public area of the resort. If you go in the evening, you can also check out what's happening on the boardwalk next door.

It was tongue and cheek, that you can use what is sometimes a crowded beach for fireworks viewing even if not staying there, but are not afforded pool privileges at other resorts. Had a hard time finding space for fireworks viewing when staying there due to so many other resorts guests there. It is what it is though, not a huge problem most times.

We ate supper at Ohana and walked down to the beach for fireworks. I tried to stay on the sidewalk as we had a little one we didnt want getting near the water (or throwing sand…. She’s 2) people were so rude. There is no reason to show up 30 seconds before they start and stand in front of people with a child on your shoulders. We made sure we stood far enough back that the sidewalk was passable and apparently nobody else cared. One and done for us
