Polynesian discounts????

Hi All,

Sorry if my question has been asked before, but I'm hoping to switch one of my reservations from BC to the Poly. I just got back from the BC and the entire week was a mess. I don't know that I'll ever stay there again.

Does the Poly ever offer AP room only discounts for early December? I would like to try the resort, but not at full price!!!

I think it depends on the occupancy. If the Poly needs to fill rooms, there will probably be a discount available. It's very much a "wait and see" situation. I've noticed that the discount for the Poly can be quite a bit less than some of the other deluxe resorts, too.

I had 40% off with an AP rate in January. We went again in June, but my bounce back rate was better than the AP rate. The bounce back was 35%, so the AP discount was less than that.

Hmmm...Well, I guess I'll keep the Poly reservation and if deep enough discounts don't come out then I'll attempt to find a discounted room at Contemporary or Boardwalk. There's no way I'd pay rack rate for ANY of Disney's resorts!
