We will be attending WDW for 6 nights beginning April 4th. I will be with my husband and 3 kids (girls 12 and 9, and a boy 3). It is our first time in 7 years and probably won't make it back again for a few years. These were two dinner shows that we haven't done. I was hoping to do both but just realized that each of these would take 2 dining credits, only leaving us with 2 for the remainder of the trip. If I have choose, which one would my kids enjoy e most?

I would definitely choose the Hoop De Doo REVUE (a revue is a song and dance show. you can, however, review the revue.;)) over the luau.

the food is much better, (and more like food kids would like)the show is much better, and the luau can be cancelled for weather.

Thanks for that info! And yes, I knew the revue was a revue, but didn't review my post before sending

Another vote for the Revue. Or is it review.....Oh, well. I say go hoop it up and skip the luau.

DW and I have done both, but only took the kids to Hoop Dee Do. They had a blast there. I think the Poly is better for the older kids (12 and up), but the food and entertainment at Hoop Dee Do is great for all ages.

We did the Luau last year and had a great experience. We had a group of 10 and everyone dressed up Hawaiian style. We had children ages 5, 7, 10 and 14 and they all had a great time.

The food and drinks were delicious and plentiful for everyone in our party. Everyone enjoyed.

I can't comment on the HDR as we have never done it but we are definitely doing it on our next trip.

We've done both multiple times, and much prefer HDDR! In fact, we chose to go there for dinner on our wedding day with a party of 20 people. It was so much fun! The food is better than that at the luau, and we also like the entertainment better.

Thank you! You guys have sold me on the HDDR! Now I just hope I can get a reservation during busy Easter week!!
