Polynesian deluxe studios kitchenette question

It took a day or so to freeze, but we counted on bringing frozen water bottles to the parks. We like having cold water for hours as we wandered the parks. The best we can do now is to find a smallish water bottle that has a big enough opening to get ice cubes in. Just having an ice machine doesn't help us.
Turn the thermostat down as low as possible. Place the water bottles length-wise against the cooling coils in the back. They will freeze.

Thanks for the information. It's not even so much the cost of buying water in the parks, we buy other drinks in the parks. But we really like to be able to carry COLD water with us and those bottles sitting in ice will stay cold for about 5 mins.

Shortly after I bought into Wyndham in 2007, they stopped allowing owners to transfer points to each other. They said it was due to a demand by the ownership, and that it was voted upon. No Wyndham members remembered voting on that, either.
That is the standard excuse for any change that members might not like. I have never in 18 years been asked for my opinion. I have given it. I am interested to hear if anyone was contacted about this.

You voted on it at the yearly meeting that most people don't go to or send in requests for.
If you want something read the condo docs about how to get a vote on something then show up to vote.

I didn't realize those meeting were anything more than "we are doing great, give us more money, see ya next yr".

DVC? I've never heard of them having an owners vote yet. Nor do I think they ever will unless possible because their dealing with a catastrophic event at a resort.

That must be something new. I admit that I haven't been to a condo owners' meeting in several years, but sent to several before then, and never had the opportunity to vote on anything. Truthfully, it seemed like a dog and pony show.

We also weren't asked but I would've chosen a small freezer over NONE if I HAD been asked... We also freeze water bottles and I get frozen waffles & pancakes for breakfasts. They don't go BAD in the frig but they get limp & soggy & don't toast as well if they're not frozen.

If enough people don't show of proxy there is no need to vote. The board has the majority of votes.

The board has all power. There are extremely few things that require or allow owners votes. There has not ever been a vote on anything such as refrigerators.
