Polynesian concierge was definately worth it!!!

My only other question is: "On what floor the lounges will be located?"-- I can't recall if it's 2 or 3? I thought it was 3, but I'm sure you can help with that bit of information--I know I've been told, just didn't document it and can't recall!

You know far more of the minutiae than I--although I do love the Polynesian--I just can't keep all the names of the longhouses in my head--Tahiti and Hawaii, Samoa and Nuie--about the extent of my knowledge. I recognize the names when I'm there, they just don't stick after I leave! I do know the important stuff though!

We've finally hit the teens! Given our cruddy weather of late (and in the predictable future), Florida is looking GREAT to me!

Steve, we are checking in on May 31 staying until June 7th and were told by concierge that we will be in Tahiti.
I am not sure if things have changed in the past week but that is what we were told.

Hi Jazmyin and all, I stayed at the Polynesian concierage garden view in April, 2001, the week before Easter. We used an AP discount and paid only $249 a night which included tax. I think I just got lucky that year because every time I try to book the same room, the price is $100 or more a night. I am deciding between going in Sept after labor day or next spring, the week before Easter again. I have a feeling though that I have to just bite the bullet and realize that those discounts aren't coming back in the foreseeable future. Does anyone have any info or feelings about this?

Thanks for posting about your stay! I have only stayed at the Polynesian once for only a night and my husband stayed there when he was a kid. We have been considering Polynesian lagoon view concierge for our next stay and I think we are going to do it. It sounds great!
