Polynesian Concierge Rehab? When in June?

Does anyone know the exact day in June the rehab will begin?

We wanted to stay thre in early June but will postpone our trip if need be.

I asked recently and did not receive an answer. It was a question posed along with a few others concerning our June '03 stay. Whether it was intentionally overlooked is unknown.

I will be corresponding again later and intend to ask again. Since our stay is just before and the week after Father's Day, I'm betting we'll be moved to Tahiti IF the rehab goes as planned.

My guess is they don't yet have a firm schedule and are still working out the details hence the reason my question was avoided.

There are very few CMs that know much if anything about the rehab. Some people have actually been told by CMs at check in that the rehab is a rumor. When I was there I visited with some of the staff that is involved in the decisions for the rehab and they told me that Hawaii would be down from June till about August or September at the latest. The schedule is preliminary but they seemed sure about Hawaii. They just would not discuss the details about what changes were going to be made because they have a lot of ideas that are not set in stone. The schedule for the remaining longhouses is the only one that is very unsure at this point.

Thanks Steve! We have talked about possibly staying at the Poly for Thanksgiving next year and I'd love to try the newly renovated Hawaii building.
