Poly v Grand Flo

I am trying to decide between the two. The GF is only a bit more expensive than the Poly (approx $270). My question is: Why is the GF more expensive than the Poly? What does it have that the Poly does not? (besides the Spa)

Actually, the spa is located almost centerally to both the GF and Poly. Guests of either resort can take advantage of the healthclub at no charge.

I honestly don't think there are any amenities that stand out. The only thing lacking at the Poly is a hot tub. Otherwise, they both have a theme pool, quiet pool, beach, water activities, same transportation options (actually the Poly is probably a bit better here because you can easily walk to the TTC). I don't believe the rooms are any bigger. The GF does have the orchestra and piano player in the lobby and it's advertised as being the flagship resort. If you do a side by side comparison though, I think the only major difference you'll find is the theme.

If I were debating between these 2 Resorts for me a factor would be that self parking for the Grand Floridian is across the street from the lobby.

The GF is one monorail stop away from t he MK while the Poly is two. Location, location, location. To me the GF is a little more deckident and lavish. They do play music in the lobby most evenings with a band or a piano player. You also have more TS choices at the GF than at the Poly.

Honestly, our family prefers the Poly for the theming.

I prefer the Poly also. After a long day at the parks, I loved walking into that lobby and hearing the waterfall and relaxing hawaiian music. I like the GF, but Poly is the winner for me.
