Poly Torch Lighting Ceremony

We will be staying at the Poly for the first time with the kids this October. Can anyone tell me about the Torch Lighting Ceremony. When/where it is. In advance, THANKS for the input!

The Torch Lighting Ceremony is held at 6:00pm Tues- Sat. I have heard that it starts in the GCH, however, when we arrived everyone was already outside. Its basically about a 5-10 minute "show" where a woman(others have reported a man) beats the drum and the Tiki guy does his little fire dance and lights the torches leading the way up the walk of the GCH. both are of course dressed in the Polynesian themed clothes, long dress, loin cloth, etc...
It was really neat to be able to catch that on our last trip. Its sort of like a sneak peek at the Luau, only without the food.
