Poly to WCC

We're staying at the Poly. To get from Poly to Whispering Canyon Cafe can we take the monorail to the Contemporary and then a boat to WCC? If we took the monorail to MK, how would we get to WCC? Would that be the best way other than the bus?

The best way is to take the Monorail to Magic Kingdom and to get on the ferry boat over to the Wilderness Lodge.

You should take the monorail to whichever stop is first contemporary or MK. I'm not sure which one is. Then take the boat from either one to the WL. No bus needed

Going there MK will be first (2 stops from the Poly), although the Contemporary is only one more stop.

Coming back it would be the Contemporary. From there it would be 2 stops to the Poly.

Not sure about the boat though. If it is the same one it would likely go from MK to the Contemporary and then to WL so it might be quicker from the Contemporary as it would be a shorter boat ride and one less stop to take on passengers which is a lot slower on a boat than the monorail.

The answer depends on if you're going to WCC for breakfast or for dinner.

If breakfast, you definitely want to take the larger boat from MK, not the smaller launch from the Contemporary. In the morning, the latter goes from the CR to Ft Wilderness and then to the Lodge, so you'd be going way out of your way. (A very pleasant ride, though.) If it isn't really early, you might take the launch from the Poly straight to the MK. It's a nice ride across the lagoon, but I don't believe the launch starts running as early as does the monorail.

If dinner, take the monorail to the CR, go out the back door to the boat dock, and take the launch to the WL via a fairly short ride. (The launch changes directions in the afternoon and goes CR-WL-FtW.)

To reply directly to B-Ride, there are two separate boat routes to/from WL, with no boat running between MK and CR.
